I think there is one main draw back for the Nissan Evalia in Indian condition. Especially in village areas most of the passangers are not using aircondition in vehicle. Most of them wants to open the side glasses of the . vehicle. But I think for this model it is not possible in the second raw. some people is having vomitting tendency while travelling .if we cant open the side glasses it will make too much problem for driver and passengers.
Nissan Evalia is having excellent features, great drive, safety features, impressive interiors and presence of diesel engine, high fuel economy, large luggage compartment too but yes as you said the draw back of side glass is there. Let us hope the company improvises to work on it and implement the slider glass.
Nissan Evalia has a decent boot space, with all the seats up you can put two-three travel bags. If you need more space you can fold the third row, even second row. With both rows folded the Evalia has a trunk space of 2900 liters.
Third party insurance is mandatory, which costs Rs. 925 + Rs. 100 (Policy Cover) + 12% service tax. You can also get own damage insurance which include, insurance of vehicle against theft, accident and other circumstances with occupants' insurance, which is based on cost of the vehicle and cubic capacity. Every year a depreciation of 10 per cent is imposed on the cost of the vehicle, so you have to pay lesser. In Evalia's case you have to pay less around Rs. 1500 than the earlier, if you retain the same policy.
