Hello I'm Elango from Salem, Tamilnadu. Being a great fan of Off Road capable SUV's, i always wanted to own one. Mitsubishi Pajero has been my first choice. Since Mitsubishi has launched the new Pajero Sport this year, iam more attracted to buy. But I’m little disappointed to see it not to have an auto transmission variant. All its competitors models like Fortuner, Endevour and Rexton have Automatic Variants. Can you please find out whether Mitsubishi India has any plans to launch a variant with Auto Transmission in the near future? If yes, when will it likely to be. Also by April 2013, its going to be first anniversary for Pajero Sport and would it give a way for any peppy inclusions like Auto Transmission, GPS etc like other competitors products? Hi Mr. Ramesh,
Both of the SUV's are good off-roaders. However the Pajero Sport is only available in 4WD but Fortuner comes in both 2WD and 4WD. The Fortuner comes with 3.0-litre diesel engine churning out a maximum power of 168bhp and torque of 343Nm. On the other hand, Pajero Sport's 2.5-litre engine delivers a maximum power output of 175 bhp and peak torque of 400Nm. The Pajero Sport also has better off-roading capabilities and comes with the shift on fly.
However, Toyota's dealership network pans across country and now most of the cities have a dealership and service outlet. On the other hand, Mistubishi has a very thin dealership network across India.
In India has Mitsubishi launched Pajero with Automatic transmission? If Yes, can you please provide the details of the dealers in Bangalore and the prevailing price? If No, do they have any plan to launch one and what is the time frame please? Thanks, Harish.
