The diesel variant of Maruti Swift is powered by 1.3 L, 1248 cc diesel engine which delivers a power of 75 PS at 4000 rpm and a torque of 190 Nm at 2000 rpm. This high powered engine has a very great acceleration and reached 100 km in just 13.2 seconds and top speed of 152 kmph. With it the mileage of the car is 14 kmpl in city and 17.8 kmpl on highway.
On the other hand the diesel version of Maruti Ritz is packed with 1.3 L DDiS engine with a displacement of 1248 cc. This advanced DDiS engine also offers a maximum power of 75 PS at 4000 rpm and a torque of 190 Nm at 2000 rpm. This high powered engine of Maruti Ritz has a very great acceleration and reached 100 km in just 15.43 seconds and top speed of 163 kmph. The car offers a mileage of 17.8 kmpl in the city roads and 21.2 kmpl on the highways.
