With the Air Locking Hub, you can switch between 4 WD and 2 WD modes for different kind of surfaces wherein the shifting can be done through the transfer lever. Moreover, high and low settings in 4 WD mode helps to choose between flat surface and off-road slopes respectively produces a top power output of 85 bhp at 3750 rpm and a highest torque of 200 Nm at 1750 rpm. The powertrain output is transferred to its 5 speed manual gearbox by specific chain that results in lower friction and minimum noise without loosing power.
The first concept of the Jimny was a two door four seater SUV, however as of now Maruti Suzuki hasn't unveiled the production variant, so it is difficult to tell that the final production will be a 4 or 5 seater.
