Fleet vehicles are groups of motor vehicles owned or leased by a business, government agency or other organization rather than by an individual or family. Typical examples are vehicles operated by car rental companies, taxicab companies, public utilities, public bus companies, and police departments. In addition, many businesses purchase or lease fleet vehicles to deliver goods to customers, or for sales representatives to travel to clients.
When the ignition switch is in the â€œONâ€
position or the ignition mode is â€œONâ€, the
center console display shows the time.
To change the time indication:
1) Push the trip meter selector knob and the indicator selector knob
together. (In the center console)
2)To change the hour indication, turn the
indicator selector knob left or right
repeatedly when the hour indication
blinks. To change the hour indication
quickly, turn and hold the indicator
selector knob. To set the hour indication,
push the indicator selector knob and the minute indication will flash.
3) To change the minute indication, turn
the indicator selector knob left or
right repeatedly when the minute indication
blinks. To change the minute
indication quickly, turn and hold the indicator
selector knob. To set the minute
indication, push the indicator
Different manufacturers have slightly different techniques. For example, in Ford Car from the year 2010, VIN has 17 characters starting from MAJ in which 11th and 12th characters represents YEAR and MONTH respectively.
If your 11th VIN Character is A then it represents Year 2010 and so on.
if your 12th VIN Character is M then it represents Month JULY.
