Answers for this Question
Metallic paints have tiny bits of metal mixed in with the paint to give it an extra sparkle or sheen. If you look closely at some paint jobs you can actually see the tiny bits. Non-metallic paints don't have this and appear to be just one solid color. On modern cars, both types of paints are covered and protected by a clear coat, so you shouldn't have to worry about abnormal chipping or fading.
