The question is about Maruti A-Star Automatic (AT) car. Whether there is need to change the gears as in the manual transmission Or simply once press the front gear and press accelerator and go on? Whether there is also cluch? Below the board, there are generally in manual transmission cars - ABC i.e. accelerator, break and cluch. What about in the automatic car?

Hi Vijay,

In an Auto Transmission car the gears change automatically according to the cars speed and the engine RPM. The driver has to shift in the D mode to get going, there is no clutch pedal on Automatics. By pressing the accelerator pedal the car gains speed and the gears shift accordingly and when the brake is applied the gears down shift on their own. In Automatic cars you just have 2 pedals ie the Brake on the left and the Accelerator on its right.
