According to the Indian Government norms, any car which length is less than 4 meters is said to be hatchback cars and Fiat Punto satisfies this norm ... The length of earlier version of Tata Indigo is more than 4 meters ... and Tata Indigo CS has re-launched with smaller boot space thats why its over-all length is decreased but people still knows it as sedan. As in Indian market generally people call the small two-box cars as hatchback models and three box cars as sedan model.

actually i have to purchase right now. i like the overall features swift zxi offers. any better alternative in the same budget fm maruti. after launch of next year facelift, value of this zxi will remain same???.
Hyundai hasn’t said anything about the launch of this hatchback in India. In India, we do not have a segment for hatchbacks that are placed between premium and luxury ones and sadly, i30 falls in that particular space. So, the chances of the new i30's introduction in India appear bleak.
