Thank you for considering us worthy enough to address your concern & writing to us.

Now who doesn’t like a Mercedes-Benz, BMW or an Audi handsomely parked in one’s garage? Well, we are sure you do, but there are certain aspects that you need to consider before making your final choice. You have worked hard all your life and now finally have a decent amount of money at your disposal to get yourself a new set of wheels.

A car speaks a lot about your lifestyle, choices, and your overall personality. So it’s important to choose a vehicle that suits your everyday needs and caters to your personality as well.

It will not be wrong to say that a luxury car not only boosts your social status but it also comes equipped with features and attributes that make driving fun as well as comfortable. But then again, owning a luxury car will come with a lot of other bills attached.

    Luxury Cars

    The Good:

A complimentary high-class status: Yes! No matter how much one tries to deny it, a luxury car speaks for itself, creating a situation where you don’t have to go and brag to people about your accomplishments. The luxury badge does all the talking for you.

Features that can make you drool: A luxury car will have more premium components than your “normal” car. Features such as powered seats, panoramic sunroof, multi-zone air conditioning, and even a massage feature, to name a few, are ones you don’t come across in normal cars.

A better driving experience: Nothing can beat the adrenaline rush one feels when one steps on the accelerator of a powerful luxury car. Packed with potent engines, you can enjoy all that the car has to offer, right from an amazing driving experience to the overall contentment that comes with owning such a car.

Reliability factor: Luxury cars are not only made to be admired; they are also crafted to excel in the reliability factor. While a normal car would undergo serious wear and tear after running around 1 lakh kilometres, under ideal conditions, a luxury car crosses the 1 lakh kilometre mark with a smile.

    The Bad:

Cost of Upkeep: Getting a used luxury car at throwaway prices does not mean that its maintenance will sit light on your pocket. Right from the fluids that need regular topping up to the abnormally expensive spare parts, you will end up spending a lot more than you will on a regular car.

No nukkad service stations: A luxury brand cannot have a service station at every street corner. To add to the problem, you cannot get a luxury car serviced at a local or unauthorized service station due to its complex features and the gadgets appointed, which every mechanic can’t cater to. Thus, you can get them serviced only at authorized service centers.

Fuel efficiency: These are not your mass-market cars, so forget about asking ‘kitna mileage deti hai?’ if you are going for a performance luxury car. Having a bigger and more potent engine would mean drinking fuel like a chilled drink on a hot summer day. And if the car is not maintained well and/or serviced regularly, fuel economy will go down again, thanks to engine wear and tear.

So, what should you go for?

There is no right or wrong here. There is some bit of emotion and heart involved as well. For somebody who aspires to these luxury brands and is an enthusiast as well, the latest technology or the new-car feel of a normal brand will not appeal to him/her.

Then again, don’t go completely with your heart, for you might end up buying a car that doesn't suit your needs. If you are not really bothered about the luxury badge and favour features and affordability more, a new top-end commuter is yours for the taking.  So, relax, compare all the aspects, and listen to your heart as well as your mind, and go ahead and get hold of that car of your dreams.

Coming to the maintainence part, we would suggest you to get in touch with the nearest authorized service center as they will be the better person to assist you.

The Hyundai Creta is a mega hit, the South Korean automaker is sitting on the top in respective segment with Hyundai Creta and they are all set to continue the same with the new face of this SUV.

    Hyundai Creta 2018 Overview

The Creta 2018 has already been displayed at Chengdu Auto Show in China and expected to make its Indian debut in 2018. Just so you know, Creta is one of the best-selling models from the stable of South Korean automaker and it sells close to 8000 units per month with the cumulative sales standing at over 2 lakh units since its Inception.

    A Quick Glance

The Creta facelift is expected to have a number of Cosmetic changes including the nip and tuck job on the bumpers, new hexagonal Chrome slatted grill, redesigned fog lamps, LED daytime running lamps (DRLs), modified tail lamp graphics, and sporty dual exhaust. Hyundai can also customize some of the design elements according to taste and preference of Indian buyers but that will be evident only at the time of new Creta’s launch.

Interiors too will go under transformation and Hyundai could very well further up the ante in terms of quality and stitching job. Still, we don’t expect the overall layout and design to feature any drastic transformation. The dimensional integrity of the Creta 2018 hasn’t been changed, so the legroom, headroom, and knee room will essentially remain to be the same.

    At the Heart

Hyundai is unlikely to change the set of petrol and diesel engines doing the duty Under the Hood of current generation Creta. This means you will continue to get a 1.4-liter diesel engine mated to 6-speed manual gearbox and bigger 1.6-liter diesel engine featuring both 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission. On the petrol front, 1.6-liter gasoline engine made with a 6-speed manual as well as a 6-speed automatic will be the de facto choice available for the buyers.

    Price & Competitors

In term of price, facelift Creta will cost slightly more than its current version. In Indian market, Hyundai Creta 2018 is competing against the likes of Jeep compass, Maruti Suzuki S-cross, Mahindra XUV 5oo, Renault Duster, and Honda BR-V. In addition, the facelift Hyundai Creta will also take on the newly launched Renault Captur and Mahindra's upcoming SUV codenamed S201. It's good to hear that you wish to know about upcoming car & we'll be glad to assist you.

    Rush Highlights

The Toyota Rush is now in its third generation and was showcased in Indonesia in November 2017. The Rush is tall and narrow, using its height than length to free up space for 7 passengers.

The compact 7-seater MPV/SUV segment has only two cars for now, the Honda BR-V and the popular Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. Toyota’s Rush, a 7-seater SUV, could fit in this space very well, and considering it will be the only one of its kind – create a niche for itself. Click on the below link to set an alert for it.

Toyota has a new SUV! Okay, not in India, but it might just click here too.

Let's answer the million-dollar question: Is it coming to India? Well, nothing is concrete at the moment. However, we're expecting it later this year. A solid reason for getting it to India lies in the fact that the segment is up for grabs. The Mobilio has already bowed out, the BR-V is faltering and it's only the Ertiga that's laughing its way to the bank.

Toyota's brand reputation of reliability, paired with frugal engines from the Etios family, should make the Rush a worthy contender. Plus, it'll also help the Jap automaker fill a void in its portfolio since it has no products in the Rs 10 lakh to Rs 15 lakh bracket. To top things off, the fleet market would readily lap it up for its seven seats alone.

    Enough reasons? We think so!

Expected price: Rs 9-12 lakh, Ex-showroom.

Rivals: Honda BR-V, Renault Duster, Maruti Suzuki S-Cross

    Toyota C-HR Highlights

Toyota revealed the production-spec version of the C-HR at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. Its concept made its world premier at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. According to Toyota, the C-HR stands for – Coupé High-Rider. It is based on the automaker's latest platform, Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA), which also underpins the fourth-generation Prius.

Mechanically, the Toyota C-HR is powered by a range of petrol engines — a 1.2-litre turbocharged, a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated and a 1.8-litre hybrid. The 1.8-litre hybrid powertrain is borrowed from the Prius and is rated at 122PS. The new 1.2-litre turbocharged motor puts out 115PS of power and 185Nm of torque, while the bigger 2.0-litre motor generates 150PS of power and 193Nm of torque. The latter only comes mated to a CVT automatic transmission, while the 1.2-litre engine offers an option of a six-speed manual or a CVT.

    Launch?

It shares the same fate i.e. there is no official announcement regarding its launch.
