Thank you very much for the reply.. I would also like to know , if I convert EON to CNG in future then what would be an impact on the engine power. I know there would be impact on the pick up of car but would like to know how big that impact would be. By the way this site is great and very very helpful for new people like me who dont have any idea about cars and planning to buy one.. :-)

If you are looking at an entry-level hatchback at a price point of about Rs. 3,20,000, your choice boils down to the Hyundai Eon and Alto K10. In terms of looks, the K10 is fresher, with a slightly longer snout, to accommodate the 1 litre K series petrol engine. The Alto K10 lacks space. The Eon may not be as big on power as the K10, with its smaller 800cc engine, but it has lots of space. It is taller than the K10 and offers better seating comfort. The features of both cars are similar, with an efficient AC, front power windows, and power steering. An additional useful feature that the Eon has is a gear shift indicator. Regarding fuel economy, the Eon's 800cc engine does marginally better. The Eon has a claimed mileage of 21.4 kmpl, while the Alto has a mileage of 20.4 kmpl. When it comes to value for money, the Alto K10 is a peppy little car with features that you need and a great performing engine. With the Eon, you get a lot more space. So if you're looking for a car for the daily commute to work and back, the Alto K10 is better. But as an entry-level family car, the Eon has more appeal.
