SIR I own a petrol 1.5 accent and i am facing a problem with its millage , its only giving around 6.5 kmpl. I have changed the spark plugs, checked the injectors, changed the plug cords, changed the pistons and the piston rings and have also serviced the engine heard with all geniun parts but its still not giving me millage. kindly please help out with your suggestion.
AS said dont change the gears frequently, dont over accelerate particularly in 1st & 2nd. maintain RPM @2 - 2.5. frequent braking also reduces mileage. dont put petrol for 500rs or 1000rs. always maintain [F]ull when the meter shows [E]mpty .

You need to drive the car with ease, shift gears under the 2.5k RPM. Use the throttle easily and then see the difference.
The quoted service cost is based on general service and periodic parts replacement on 80,000 Kms excluding taxes. However, sometimes extra works like engine flush, replacement of fluids etc. performed on the vehicle, which increase the cost. Please, read the service invoice carefully, and report if the service center is quoting anything unnecessarily.
Hyundai has phased out the Accent from India, but the production continues for export market. So, there would not be any deficiency of parts. Moreover, you will get all the essential parts for Accent at the nearest Hyundai dealership/service centre.
Sir, if you are asking for the service details of the car with a particular registration number, which you have mentioned, then we can't provide you the information. However the the approximate service cost of Hyundai Accent for 8 years is around Rs. 26k. To know the detailed service cost of the car, please visit the link below-
