As per as my concern you have to wait for the end of this financial year. As if the company will discontinued this model in India you might face the problems like maintenance, re-sale value etc. In June 2008 when the company launched Honda Civic Hybrid they sold only 65 units in first five months because of its high price then Honda decided to clean out its stock and offered Rs 8 lakh discount. Now Honda knows the Indian market situation and if they launches it again it might be available on the discount price. Last year when the company launched Honda Civic Hybrid they directly import it as CBU from its parent company Honda Japan and the 104% import duty makes its price much high. So, it might be possible company will start its production locally to decrease its price if they planned to launch it again in India.

Thanks for the answer. Would you recommend buying used Honda civic or wait for end of this financial year when i can buy it new. If it launches again will it be at discount price or the original price ?

Honda Civic Hybrid is not available on showrooms. Last year in June company was imported only 300 units of Honda Civic Hybrid as CBU. The launch of almost Rs 8-lakh discount offer triggered a mad rush for Honda Civic Hybrid and its entire stock got cleaned out in just ten days. Honda might take decision to import more Honda Civic Hybrid for retail in the India by the end of this financial year.

Honda recently discontinued the Civic in India, however you can buy a used Civic. You can visit our, used car section, where you can find good deals- http://www.cardekho.com/used-honda-civic+cars
Well, it is quite early to reach on any conclusion, whether the service network you visited provided you the correct information or not. We would suggest you to search for another service station, if it also gives you the similar advice then it would be better to repair your car. Their could be multiple reasons behind the noise coming out from your car's engine such as badly aligned camshift belt, faulty front brakes pad, and not so proper felt belt.
