I am confused about Petrol or diesel version. My daily travelling is approx 90 kms in city . Not clear about maintenance cost afterwards and spending 1.5 lac more initially more for diesel version.
I drove my earlier car Santro petrol for 210000kms in a span of 8 yrs.
Confused about going for Diesel version. Also worried about Noise which many users are talking about.

Fuel cost of a petrol car is higher than that of a diesel car. But the price and maintenance costs are higher of the diesel cars. So a diesel car can be proven more affordable, when your commuting needs are higher. Your commuting requirements are 90 kms per day in city, so a diesel car will be more suitable for you. You also wants to know about the noise of diesel engine. Now a days, technology has been improved and modern diesel cars doesn't produce much noise, which was the problem of old diesel cars.
The engine noise is coming in the cabin because of poor cabin insulation and it depends on various things like gaps between panels and doors, material quality, etc. You need to get major changes in the interior for better insulation and we won't recommend that.
You should go for the fourth servicing despite the fact that you have not driven your car much. It is important that you go for regular servicing. Whether you want to go for wheel balancing should depend on if your car is bobbing while driving or it is not going in straight line.
The choice of the variant between diesel and petrol would depend on what would be your monthly run. If your monthly run is more than 1500 kms, you should go for the diesel variant else you should go for the petrol variant.
