hi i got a new astar car 6 months back andwat makes me worry s the raising cost of the petrol upto rs 60 were i am spending upto 4rs per km nw assuming mileage as 15kms for rs 60 also trigerred me to thk of selling tis car and get a new diesel hatchback were i will be spending 2rs per km ie 20 kms for rs 40 ....moreover i am also sure that petrol price might go upto rs 70 at the end of 2011 were still diesel wil be around 45's as govt s under pressure not to increase it due to fact tat it s commercially used which in turn may affect the inflation also....even though i could end up paying 1l extra for diesel i am sure tat i can get tat amt back in 2 to 3 years ....pls giv me suggestion...

Hi Gopal,

Getting a Diesel car wont be the ideal solution as Diesel cars cost much more than Petrol ones so you wud be spending more on getting it. Use the Maruti A Star to its full potentia, its got good efficiency as well.

    It isn't recommended to CNG the Fabia petrol. The 1.2/1.6 MPI are known to throw up problems on CNG.

    Yes you can get it installed. But we won't recommend it . Since, it will void warranty. CNG is best suited alternate fuel option instead of LPG.
