Before going ahead in purchasing the Eco Sport, I wish to ask these queries, whether the spares, parts etc... are expensive for the diesel variant like the Trend? What about the Petrol variant? Does it give good mileage? And what is the cost of spares, parts, ownership cost?
Kindly help me in chossing the right one, (Variant) coz I would travelling say 15 to 20 days in a mont approximately 200-500 kms in a month.
More than 85% of the spare parts used in Ford EcoSport Diesel Trend are manufactured in India only. Hence, there is no such thing like expensiveness and all. The Petrol spare parts are also available at a pretty reasonable price. The Petrol variants are available with two different engine options which are a 1.5-litre Ti VCT Petrol Engine and 1.0-litre EcoBoost Engine. The overall mileage of both these engines is 16.15kmpl and 18.9kmpl (ARAI Certified), respectively, which in no means are less impressive. As you have mentioned that your monthly run is quiet low, hence you should vouch for Ford Ecosport 1.0 Ecoboost Titanium Optional. It is indeed worth it, the power that you get is awesome. Ford has launched the Platinum Edition of the EcoSport. It is either available with the 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine or with the 1.5-litre TDCi diesel motor. Changes include a blacked-out roof, new 17-inch alloy wheels, fatter tyres and a few tweaks on the front and rear bumpers. Inside the cabin it gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system which supports DVD playback, has built-in GPS navigation and also acts as the monitor for the newly installed rearview camera. The car also gets cruise control and comes with six airbags.
Hello, it does offer navigation in the top end variants now. I am afraid we will not be able to share the price of the accessories since it varies from place to place. Click here to check out the details.
Hello, there is no update about the launch of EcoSport 7 seater in India as of now. Ford is unlikely to bring it to India. Currently, Ford has 2 SUVs in the line up which is the Ecosport and the Endeavor and as per the updates till now, Ford Kuga is expected to fill the gap between both of them.
