Hi, i already own a honda civic, i am planning to switch to a SUV or any automatic version sedan, my budget is max 8 lacs, Can you guys suggest which car should i go for ? I have a run of 30kms per day.
If you want to go for a SUV in the budget that you have mentioned, you can go for Ford Ecosport.
Ford Ecosport is a very sassy and stylish car.The Ecosport is very loaded in terms of the features. Also the dash is very upmarket and more stylish. The central control gives you the feel of an air pilot and feels very nice. The backseat is also very gracious in the Ecosport. There is ample legroom and great under thigh support in the backseat of the Ecosport.
Ecosport would be very good at overtaking maneuvers and would drive commandingly on the highways. Ecosport is also better insulated making the driving experience much more refined especially when driving hard. The steering of the Ecosport is more versatile than it's rivals. In the city, the steering is more light and easy also weighs up nicely in the corners, making it more fun to drive.
When it comes to Automatic sedan in the budget of under 8 lacs, the Hyundai Xcent is the best choice as it is very nice to drive. The Honda Amaze does come with automatic drive but falls short in terms of features given by Hyundai. Same is the case with Maruti Swift Dzire. Of all these cars Hyundai Xcent is the best overall package in the lot.
It is great that you wish to buy a new car and we are happy to be a part of your new car purchase. Choosing between the fuel type is always an important decision. If you drive for more than 1500 kms in a month, you should go for a diesel car and if you drive less then you should choose a petrol one. Click here to go through our story which would help you decide which fuel type you should go for. Talking about the cars that you have short listed, all of them are class leading. Swift is going to be face lifted this year, the ongoing version doesn't have that much to offer you. Baleno is great car and so is i20, there are quite a few differences when it comes to power and features. i20 comes with rear AC vents and Baleno has ABS and airbags as standard. Baleno also feels light on the steering but i20 does not. Both cars offer almost same amount of leg room and space. We would suggest you to go for Baleno if you are looking forward to buy a low maintenance car. If you are looking forward to buy a car which has better comfort features, go for i20.
