Figo has a major ground clearance problem. Old maruti 800 is better.. My friend has a figo and he is really upset about this problem, wonder why ford is not looking into this issue. I wanted to buy figo, but went for i20 only because of this issue.

Hi Mr. Vivek,
This is in regards to your query posted on the website, we would like to inform you that ground clearance for the Ford Figo is 168mm or 6.6 inches while that of Maruti Swift is 170mm so not much of a difference, if your car is scarping the speedbrakers or other tarmac you need to check the suspension setup and the load in the car. For further queries you can use the link given.

We are sorry to hear this.

Bumpers are plastic or fiber parts painted to the color of cars. Manufacturers supply these bumpers without color and service station paints them before fixing. The cost of bumper is approx INR 2000-3000 without color for Dzire. The cost of coloring may be INR 1000 rupees. Therefore to replace front and back bumpers for Dzire will cost you about Rs 6000. You can bargain also.

Check out the dealer and insurance agent and see how much is your car insurance premium for next year if the repair is claimed. Check the difference increased  with and without claim and then decide.

Well, you need to get in touch with the nearest service center for any kind of modification that you wish to make in your car. Yes, the modification can be done, but it may hamper the warranty of the car. That is the only reason why we recommend our customers to get in touch with the service center directly and take a final opinion from them.
