Want to buy Baleno. Please if any one can help
It is great that you are planning for a new car.
"The Baleno offers the perfect balance of performance, features & quality".
The Baleno offers good fit and finish compared to any other car in the Maruti portfolio. The car looks beautiful from the outside and isn't too bad on the inside either. While the diesel may seem underpowered, it makes up with a lightweight body and splendid fuel economy. Something that Maruti has always been synonymous with. In terms of performance, it falls in the middle of the segment and the car is easy to drive in city conditions.
The petrol engine in the Baleno is a very refined 1.2-litre VVT motor producing 85PS and 115Nm, offered with a 5-speed manual. It is also the first hatchback by Maruti Suzuki in India which comes with a CVT option.
The diesel continues to be the tried and tested 1.3-litre DDiS 190 motor, good for 75 PS and 190 Nm. The 75 PS becomes just another number, as one starts to drive the Baleno diesel. The benefits of power to weight ratio and healthy torque of 190 Nm come to the rescue. It effortlessly touches the 150 kmph mark and makes for a comfortable tourer. This one is more fun to drive and absolutely loves the highway.
The ride quality of the new Baleno is far superior to any of the recent models launched by Maruti Suzuki in India. It rides with a certain poise and confidence, and seemed extremely surefooted. The steering is light and reasonably communicative, more in tune for city use. It’s a large car, but there’s hardly any bodyroll or wallowing. Brakes, too, are good for their job, with ABS and EBD ensuring it stops quickly and safely.
The Maruti Suzuki Baleno is one of the most efficient in the segment, with petrol claiming a mileage of 21.4 kmpl and the diesel boasting of being the best in the segment with a claimed 27.39 kmpl. The price of Maruti Baleno ranges between Rs 5.25 - 8.36 Lakhs.
One of the biggest advantages of having the Baleno over the completion is the access to Maruti’s unmatched after sales and service network.

Hey, there is no update about it as of now. As per speculations, we'll skip BS V and will move to BS VI by 2020. However, there is no confirmation about the same.
There are some options which are already BS VI compliant as brands took the precautionary measures well before. The options include Hyundai Grand i10, Hyundai Creta and a few more high end cars.
I am planning to buy a compact SUV and have to choose between Ford Ecosport 1.5 Petrol Trend and Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza VDI Optional.Which one should i go for i am really confused.Ecosport looks an older model now and has very less mileage but is more powerful than Brezza, while as Brezza is still new and a diesel option means better mileage.Kindly guide me through the pros and cons of buying either of the two. Which one should i go for and why?
It's great that you are looking to buy a car and we'll surely assist you with same. The options you have selected are best in there segment and compete neck to neck. If you are driving 60-80Kms(Approx.) a day then you can opt for diesel car which can be a good option in terms of performance and can offer you better mileage. On the other hand, we suggest you to choose for petrol car if your car daily running is less. If mileage is a concern, EcoSport 1.5 Ti VCT MT Trend has a mileage ranging between 11.9kmpl and 15.9kmpl while Vitara Brezza VDi Option offers a fuel efficiency of 20.8 - 24.3kmpl. However, if you are looking for performance we would suggest you to pick for Ford Ecosport. But here the engine is noisy that is likely to be uncomfortable for long trips as the driver will find the noise levels in the cabin irritating beyond a point which is less as compared to Vitara Brezza. The Vitara Brezza looks muscular but no petrol variant is offered. Verdict: If you are looking daily commute purpose in heavy city traffic we would suggest you to pick vitara brezza and if you drive more on highways we suggest you go for Ford Ecosport.
