I want to replace my Etios Cross (petrol) with a SUV having on road price of Rs. 14L. The Cross is nearly 3 years old and has run approx. 30,000 KM. What price I will get and which SUV will be worth buying. Please give suggestions.
Need to buy new vehicle, confused about whether to go for car or jeep. Don't want fancy looks, but should be rugged, value for money, petrol driven, good performance, don't expect much mileage as my usage is less, say 20 - 50 km per week as i stay home and once in a while goes out of station, say once in 2 - 3 months for a ride of say 300 - 500 kms.
I am 43 yrs old and using Ford Figo Diesel since 2011. I am happy with it except for ground clearance. Now I am planning to upgrade for SUV. I am nri and My avg driving is max 8000 kms/year. I prefer to buy petrol/AWD/Auto/SUV. My native is a hilly village and thus ground clearance is a major concern. My figo with 5 pers gets easily scratched on small speed breakers. My budget is upto 30 L. How is Skoda Yeti / CR-V. I want to keep new car >10 yrs? Any other options? Pls suggest suitable car
It is great that you wish to upgrade your car and thank you for elaborating your requirements so precisely. According to your requirements, we would suggest you to go for Toyota Fortuner 2.7 2WD AT (Petrol), it isn't a all wheel drive car. However, does the job perfectly. If you wish to stay with Ford since you are already maintaining a Ford and services aren't a problem for you, Ford Endeavour 3.2 Trend AT 4X4 (Diesel) is a great option to go for . This won't be a petrol variant but is value for money as you drive that much. Skoda Yeti, Honda CR-V and Hyundai Tucson are both good options if you wish to go for a 5 seater SUV. If you are looking for a 5 seater SUV, we would suggest you to go for Tucson as it has been facelifted recently and has all the latest features unlike Yeti and CR-V both which haven't been upgraded since a long time.
