I am planning to buy a new car this dec or jan'17. Suggest me a car which is reliable, comfort, efficient. These are my constraints- below 9lac (on road price), Petrol version.
Options make our life easier but not always, especially when all the options stand at par with each other. This is exactly what happens when we have to take a decision while buying a car from a variety of alternatives hitting the market, and all of them competing neck to neck with each other. So, how do we decide which car to buy? There are number of aspects that we need to consider before making up our mind. A few of them can be:
>Decide on your budget
>Decide for the segment you want to buy: a compact car, a Sedan or an SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle)
>Look for the detailed interior and exterior features of the options available in your segment like engine power, gear box, mileage, car handling and breaking, and other technical features.
>Gather prior information of the best sellers in the market by going through the market surveys, and don’t forget to ask for discounts and incentives if offered by the manufacturer.
If you're in the market to buy a new car and you have approximately INR 9 lakhs to spend, then you might find yourself in a dilemma. It's obviously not a bad thing, but making a decision will be tough, especially if you're not certain which segment suits your needs the best. There’s so much to choose from. You’ve got hatches, sedans, MPVs and small SUVs as well.
There is a list of vehicles which we feel are the best cars in India below 9 lakhs.

I recently purchased a Maruti Suzuki swift lxi optional from Poddar khanapara dealer in Guwahati, Assam. In the invoice bill they have mentioned the car price as 4,18,638 and after taxes came around 4.83 lakhs. But the on road price is somewhat 5.74 lakhs. So when I enquired about it with the dealer they said, it's the factory price of the car and they don't mention the on road price in the invoice bill. I'm a bit confused right now. Is it true?
Well, Maruti Suzuki Swift DLX is a limited edition car and has not been launched across India. It is exclusively available for the consumers living in Delhi.
Hey, the delivery of the car depends on the car model, its variant and colour. Apart from all these factors, it also varies on the dealer's inventory.
So, if you have booked any car, we suggest you to contact the respective dealer, from where you have booked the car to know the actual delivery date.

The automaker has paired this motor to a five speed manual transmission gearbox, which enables it to break the 100 Kmph mark from a standstill in 12 to 13 seconds. Its power plant is integrated with a MPFI fuel supply system, which is helpful for delivering segment's best mileage figures of 20.85Kmpl.
Braking and Handling:
In terms of braking, this compact sedan is blessed with a highly efficient braking mechanism that works perfectly in all weather conditions.
This Maruti Swift Dzire LXI Option trim is positioned above the base variant by equipping it with a few standard comfort features.
