Answers for this Question
Hi, Sail U-VA is a good car, it is spacious, interior quality is good and it derive its power from Fiat sourced 1.3-litre Multi-jet engine, which is the same engine, which does duty in Maruti Suzuki Swift. The car comes with all important features and cost lesser, additionally Chevrolet offers 5 year warranty on engine and transmission and offers 3 year Chevrolet promise of cashless maintenance.

Did you know? Honda City completes 20 years on Indian soil. It has been in the Indian car market for 20 long years and it still continues to hold its own despite the entrance of newer competitors.

    Honda City Highlights

The City is the flagship sedan of Honda Cars India Limited and has been consistently performing well through the thick and thin of the company. In its latest avatar, Honda has sharpened the looks of City’s arrow-shot design while building on its inherent qualities like well-proportioned demeanour and quality interiors.

Honda City 2017 comes with option of two powertrains – a 1.5-liter i-VTEC petrol engine and a 1.5-liter i-DTEC diesel engine, making raw force up to the tune of 118PS/145Nm and 100PS/200Nm respectively. Petrol Honda City comes with both manual and automatic transmission options while the diesel City features the single option of 6-speed manual gearbox.

If you are traveling less than 50-60km a day, opt for a petrol car instead of a diesel. With the extra Rs 1-1.50 lakh spent on a diesel purchase, you can actually drive a similar petrol car for as many as two years! So, do your math carefully. A diesel usually makes sense if you are driving above 60/70km a day.

Picking between Diesel & Petrol trim?

The petrol engine is punchy and refined as ever, while the diesel, although a tad noisy at idle, continues to offer excellent driveability in the city and on the highway.

The petrol is available with a choice of a 5-speed manual and a CVT.  So,  if you are looking for Japanese reliability, a super refined engine and convenience features to boot, we suggest you go for the ZX petrol CVT.

    Safety Talk

Yes, safety has been upgraded and is one of the key points of the new Honda City. The entire lineup now gets ABS, EBD and dual front airbags as standard. Rear ISOFIX child seat mounts are also standard across the range. The top of the line ZX variants now also feature side and curtain airbags, which brings the total tally to six which is now on par with the rivals.

To sum up - First and foremost is safety and having six airbags reduce the chances of death or serious injuries in case of side-impact or roll-over conditions.

Manual transmissions offer much greater control over the vehicle's driving dynamics. There's really no substitute for the driving experience and level of control over the vehicle that a manual transmission can offer. Apart from it, if you are more like the average driver who simply wants to get from one place to another in the most efficient and comfortable way possible, go with the CVT.

With the update, the City continues to be the no-nonsense package it always was. If you are looking to be chauffeur-driven or need a big family car, this is the one to pick. No questions asked.
Even with the facelift, the City retains its core strengths. It’s still the same comfortable, reliable, spacious and easy to own car as before.

Looking for a big car experience? Dial H for Honda.

It’s got the looks, the tech and more importantly – that oh-so-illustrous H badge on the grille. It’s fun to drive, and has enough space to shame cars from a segment above.

The Honda City offers a healthy dose of style, space and features, which have helped it maintain pole position among rivals for a long time. But the competition has finally caught up and there are three opponents in the ring now. That said, we would also suggest you to look for Hyundai Verna, Skoda Rapid or Maruti Ciaz as well.

Furthermore, we would also suggest you to take a test drive before making a final call.

Buying the right used car is a little complex journey altogether compared to a new car which is an easy purchase.  For a brand new car, you just need to decide the right segment, get your budget in place, and after some negotiations you can get the car that you want.

On our portal, a buyer can only view 50 sellers information from a single mobile number and e-mail ID and can contact them for further details related to car. That said, buyer can check the details of each and every car available in used car section but the limit of fetching the seller information is restricted to 50.

We also guide the customers to fetch only those sellers information which they found relevant as per their requirement.

Unfortunately, we can't refresh this limit as of now. Moreover, please let us know if you're a used car dealer so that we can assist you further in this subject.

Thank you for considering us worthy enough to address your concern & writing to us.

There are two ways in which you can find out about the date/year of manufacturing of the car. The first is to check the RC (registration certificate). The other is by checking the code near the gate of the driver's cabin, known as VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) code.

You could also use the barcode near the driver side steps. Or, you can refer to the VIN number of your vehicle which is stamped on a metal plate spot welded to the chassis of the vehicle usually under the bonnet.
