I own a cruze automatic October 2011. There seems to be some problem with the parking gear of the automatic gear box. When parked overnight in the parking mode next morning the car does not move either in D or R mode even when the handbreak is released and very sluggishly it moves when the gas is applied making a cracking noise in its rear wheels. What could be the problem and solution to this. You may post your answers on as well

Answers for this Question
Hi Vivek, Kindly show your Chevrolet Cruze to a professional who can figure out what exactly is the problem with the gear box. Although, some common causes of such problems are low transmission fluid, wrong viscosity (thickness) of fluid, or required adjusting of the shift cables or clutch linkage.
