Audi is named for the Latin word for 'hark' as in auditory. The reason was that the automobile inventor's last name was German for hark, Horch but he lost the right to make cars with that name when he was bought out by his partners. His son came up with the name.

Audi doesn't provide these details for the Q3, however the legroom and headroom in the SUV are adequate only. The legroom and headroom are fine at front seats, but at rear bench the tall passengers (around 6ft and more) will face problems due to limited legroom and at the same time the sloping roofline makes the headroom another issue.
