The engine of the car consists of 4 cylinders with 4 valves per cylinder. The engine capacity of the Tata Manza Club Class Quadrajet 90 LS is 1248cc and has common rail system. The engine norm is of Bharat stage IV which makes it less smoke emitting engine. Now coming to the transmission department, it is a 5+1 speed manual gearbox. Braking and Handling
The Tata Manza Club Class Quadrajet 90 LS has got the tyre size of 185/60 R 15 of tubeless radial tyres. The wheel size is 5.5J X 15 which is pretty for a sedan. And they provide a very good strength against the resistance of the road. They are strongly connected to the front independent, lower wishbone, Mc Pherson strut with coil spring suspensions and the rear semi independent, twist beam with coil springs and hydraulic shock absorbers type of suspensions. When it comes to braking, the front brakes are ventilated disc brakes while the rears are the conventional drum brakes. Now over to steering part which is a great feature of this car, the steering is power assisted with collapsible steering column which also has a pinion hydraulic system. And it has a good control over the car and the minimum turning radius of the car is 5.1m.
In case of safety, the Tata Manza Club Class Quadrajet 90 LS is a little embarrassing and disappointing. But the top models of this car has contains lots of safety features to choose from. The car has rear child safety door locks which is quite common in these class of cars, the day and night rear view mirrors are quiet useful, passenger side rear view mirror, there is also a very good halogen headlamps for foggy days having very good light emitting capacity. The side and impact beams are very good and able to protect the car from collisions. There is also and addition for the engine immobilizer and the centrally mounted fuel tank.
Tata Manza Club Class Quadrajet 90 LS does not come with a factory fitted CD player or radio but it has four speakers in it. The car’s front windows are electrically powered. The air conditioner with heater performs quite well. The seats of the car are specially designed for maximum support to the back . Adjustable headrest on front seats makes your ride comfortable, lumber support on driver’s seat and co-driver’s seat is fixed. The front and rear cabin lights enables you to read during travelling in night, a vanity mirror on co-driver’s sun visor is also present.
Tata Manza Club Class Quadrajet 90 LS has many useful and wonderful features and the performance of the car is also a plus point. The service network of Tata motors is also very wide and easily available.
The car has some issues in engine as it jerks sometimes, but it restricted to a very small number, Tata claims that after first service, everything would be fine. Plus the lack of some basic safety features.
