Price: The Mercedes-Benz GLB is priced between Rs 63.80 lakh and Rs 69.80 lakh (introductory ex-showroom pan-India).
Seating Capacity: GLB has the capacity to seat up to seven passengers.
Engine and Transmission: Mercedes-Benz has put both petrol and diesel engine options: a 1.3-litre petrol engine (163PS/250Nm) and a 2-litre diesel engine (190PS/400Nm). The petrol engine is mated to a seven-speed DCT (dual-clutch automatic), while the diesel unit comes with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The SUV gets both front-wheel-drive and 4MATIC all-wheel-drive systems.
Features: Its features list comprises two 10.25-inch displays (driver’s display and infotainment touchscreen), power-adjustable front seats with memory function, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting and a panoramic sunroof.
Safety: Passengers are protected by multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC) and ADAS.
Rivals: Mercedes-Benz GLB locks horns with the Audi Q5 and the BMW X3.
