February, 05, 2014: Nissan India unveiled the Friend-Me concept vehicle at the Auto Expo. The car has distinct design elements, making it a definite head turner among the Gen Y consumers. It is designed by the alliance of Nissan Design China and the Nissan Global Design Centre. This futuristic vehicle has a fluidic design with curves and bends blending in at every point. The concept of this vehicle is apparently designed to be aerodynamically efficient and visually enticing.

Nissan India has showcased its brand new concept saloon christened as Nissan Friend Me at the Indian Auto Expo 2014. This concept version represents the company's bold vision of how the futuristic saloons will look. This new concept vehicle by the Japanese auto giant is a combination of aerodynamics and sporty designed exterior along with an innovative cabin, which illustrates the Nissan's creative vision in the automobile technology. The company unveiled this vehicle in accordance with the trend and stole the attention of numerous car lovers. This concept vehicle comes with refreshing new aspects unlike the conventional Nissan designs, that highlights the ultramodern style of the future saloons. The company has not disclosed anything regarding the features or technicalities of this vehicle, but there are speculations that it can be full of surprises as the company is moving aggressively ahead with this concept model. As the company disclosed that this is a saloon based concept, we can expect that this vehicle may be equipped with a 2.5-litre engine, which is already performing the duties for the prevalent Nissan Teana Saloon. On the other hand, this concept vehicle is expected to be made available with both manual and automatic transmission gearbox options for the car buyers to choose from.
When it comes to the exteriors of this concept version, it comes with an innovative body design equipped with innovative cosmetics that gives you a glimpse of how the next-generation saloons look like. The front facade of this concept gets a V-shaped stance, thanks to the arrow shaped headlight cluster and the radiator grille that brings an expressive look to the frontage. The headlight cluster comes fitted with a HID xenon headlamps along with DRLs and turn indicators. The design of the bumper is quite interesting and it resembles a hybrid car. Its bumper gets a triangular shaped air ducts with a chrome plated strip fitted under it. The side profile of this saloon comes with fluidic lines and expressive fenders that are fitted with diamond cut alloy wheels. The rear end of this concept comes with an eccentric body design compliment by the edgy taillight cluster and integrated bumper that comes fitted with a pair of air ducts and gun-metal garnished strip.
Coming to the insides, this concept saloon has a cutting edge cabin equipped with LCD displays with touch controls. The interiors of this concept saloon have been done up with black and white color scheme along with metallic inserts on door handles. The best part about the interiors is its central console equipped with a large touchscreen display powered by a user-friendly operating system interface. This will help the users to enable or activate the functions with just a simple touch. The size of the dashboard gets slimmer, which will improve the leg space in the cockpit. Here the company has fitted the sport seats, which are expected to get massage function along with electrically adjustable system. On the whole, the concept version of Nissan Friend Me is simply irresistible, but the arrival of this vehicle may take another couple of years as it is still in the designing stage.
