Mahindra’s first SUV to be tested at the Global NCAP was the XUV300 (now sold as the XUV 3XO), which was also among the first made-in-India SUVs to achieve a 5-star Global NCAP safety rating, setting a benchmark in the compact SUV segment. Next in line to be tested was the XUV700 (now XUV 7XO), launched in 2021. It also achieved a full 5-star Global NCAP rating, earning high scores for both adult and child occupant protection. The Scorpio-N also secured a 5-star Global NCAP rating, demonstrating that even a rugged ladder-on-frame SUV can deliver excellent crash protection.

While the Thar Roxx has not yet been tested by Global NCAP, what we do know is that this SUV is built on a strong structure as well, which has already received a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP, further highlighting Mahindra's continued focus on occupant safety across its SUV range.
