Nano XE Review
Tata Nano XE is the entry level variant in its model lineup. This latest version looks quite attractive in its new infinity design theme. It now includes a perforated radiator grille at front, which resembles a smiley face. In the rear, it features an expressive boot lid, while on its sides, the black colored B-pillars as well as door mirrors makes it look quite appealing. This hatchback has its interiors decorated with a complete black color scheme. It is although a small car, but the space inside it, is good enough to offer better convenience to its passengers. Some of the key aspects in the cabin include three spoke steering wheel, digital clock, rear foldable seat, dual glove boxes and driver information display that adds to the comfort level. On the other hand, it has the advanced structural stability that aids in improving overall drive safety. Moreover, the intrusion beams equipped to its side doors as well as central high mount stop lamp also assists in bringing enhanced protection to its occupants. This facelifted version retains the same engine specifications, which is, the 0.6-litre petrol engine that churns out 37.5bhp power and 51Nm torque output. Besides these, its 110 litre boot space as well as 24 litre fuel tank turn out a plus point.
Exteriors:
The main attraction in its front facade is definitely the newly designed infinity motif radiator grille. It is perforated, black in color and designed with the infinity symbol. Its seat covers are in black and silver combination and features Matrixed Nano with denim bolster fabrics. The company has offered it with dual glove boxes, which allows storing several things in them. The steering wheel on its dashboard has three spoke design and it comes with provision for a 12V power socket for charging mobile phones. In addition to these, it includes a cabin lamp, cup holders in front console, driver information display, and a stylish center console.
Engine and Performance:
The automaker has powered it with a 0.6-litre petrol power plant that has a displacement capacity of 624cc. This mill carries two cylinders and is based on a single overhead camshaft valve configuration. It is integrated with a multi point fuel injection system and paired with a four speed manual transmission gear box. It is capable of returning a maximum mileage of around 23.9 Kmpl, which is rather good. The motor has the ability to churn out a peak power of 37.5bhp between 5200 and 5500rpm, and yields torque output of 51Nm in the range of 3500 to 4000rpm.
Braking and Handling:
