Wraith Coupe Review
Rolls-Royce is among the most celebrated names in the auto industry, and the company's fame and glamour owes to the success of models such as the Wraith. This is a four doored coupe model that was released in 2013, and has a similar chassis system as the company's another model, Ghost. Among the variants available for the vehicle, one is the Rolls-Royce Wraith Coupe . This is a machine that blends good looks with a fine driving experience and performance. It is equipped with a powerful V12 engine, which takes it to good performance lengths. It is also supported by a strong chassis and braking arrangement, enabling quality handling along with the benefits of speed. Turning to the interiors, the car's cabin is made for elegance as well as comfort. Premium upholstery covers the seats, while fine wood and an assortment of other luxurious materials decorate the rest of the cabin. Besides offering a rich atmosphere, the cabin is also suited with many excellent comfort functions, including a Wi-Fi Hot-spot and satellite navigation for an uncompromising drive experience.
Exteriors:
The vehicle has a majestic outfit that goes along with luxury themes. It takes on the classic 2:1 proportion of wheel to body height, improving its structural harmony. Starting from the front, the vertical grille is deeply recessed for a more striking look. On either side of this, there are rectangular headlamps which add to the confident front look. At the front of the hood, the company's spirit of Ecstasy is angled with precision, giving the car its exclusive look. Coming to the side profile, the gentle curves and the aerodynamic lines add to the car's bold expression. Its prominent shoulders give it a more masculine touch. The long rear overhang adds elegance to its look. A signature design aspect of the vehicle is its frame-less coach doors. This, along with the absence of the B-pillars offer easier boarding for the passengers, and add to its distinctive look. The standard 20 inch seven-spoke wheels add style to the machine. Besides, buyers can also opt for a set of 21 inch seven-spoke design alloy wheels or for a five-spoke design rims. The signature rear-hinged coach doors make improve the vehicle's distinguished presence. Coming to the tail section, the intelligently designed light clusters distinguish its presence. The twin exhausts are also great looking, and the wide rear track accentuates its athletic build. A two toned paint option is available to further highlight the car's exterior outfit.
a
Interiors:
The cabin has been designed in an intelligent and ergonomic manner, enabling apt comfort and space for all of its occupants. The company has given the cabin a hand-built treatment by skilled craftsmen and technicians for the best result. Phantom-grade natural grain leather adorns the seats and other portion of the cabin, adding a plush value to it. There are headrests for the seats, offering support and comfort to the passengers' heads and necks. The front and the rear row of seats come with armrests at the center, allowing convenient placement of arms. The passengers get the benefit of soft wool carpets. There is an instrument cluster with speedometer along with other gauges which have blood orange needle tips for a more refined outlook. Fine open grain veneer is curved around the contours of the door, creating a rich image of the cabin. Cashmere headlining improves the opulent feel of the cabin and one can opt between either seashell or black. There are added touches such as chrome bullet tips on the seats, while umbrellas are included in the door frames. Beside all of this, the customers are given added options for the more personalized look. There is a choice of a Canadel Paneling in open grain wood throughout the cabin. Additionally, the company offers 1,340 fibre optics that can be sewn into the headliner for a more vibrant look.
Engine and Performance:
Powering the vehicle is a mighty 6.6-litre V12 engine. It comprises of 12 cylinders and 48 valves, and is turbocharged for improved performance quality. The engine goes along with an 8 speed automatic transmission that promotes easier gear shifting. It gives a power output of 624bhp at 5600rpm, alongside a torque of 800Nm between 1500rpm to 5500rpm. Altogether, it carries the vehicle to a top speed of 250kmph, and allows it to leap from stall to 100kmph within just 4.6 seconds. Beside performance, the engine also facilitates a decent fuel economy. It delivers a mileage of 7.1kmpl, which is a moderate value considering its size and performance capabilities.
Braking and Handling:
There are strong discs for the braking system, providing a good braking force for stable control. Next, for the suspension, there is a four wheel independent suspension system. The front axle of the chassis is rigged with double wishbone arrangement, while the rear axle is equipped with a multi link system for efficient handling. Stabilizer bars are present at the front and rear, further promoting drive harmony with reduced road hassle. Beside all of this, an anti lock braking system is present, and this improves control quality when braking.
Comfort Features:
The highlight of the interior features is the navigation system, which comes along with satellite aided transmission and GPS data for reducing the driver's burden immensely. For in-cabin connectivity, there is a wireless hotspot that provides INTERNET access even during the course of the drive. A touchpad is provided, which allows for easier operations for the users, and this goes along with a voice control system as well. Bluetooth connectivity is another highlight of the cabin, and this facility allows for audio streaming through Bluetooth devices and in-cabin call hosting as well. There is a feature for recording and sending audio notes, giving occupants added relief. The cruise control facility uses a radar to keep sight of the vehicles ahead, blending comfort with drive safety.
Safety Features:
Airbags provide protection to the front row passengers in case of mishaps, and this goes along with front and rear head airbags for added safety. Child seat anchors are present, offering added safety in the presence of children. Strong headlamps keep the road visible, reducing chances of mishaps. Seatbelts are present to keep the passengers secure through the drive. An engine immobilizer is present to protect the vehicle as well.
Pros:
1. Spacious and luxurious interiors.
2. Acceleration and pickup is far superior.
Cons:
1. It is greatly expensive.

Max Torque The load-carrying ability of an engine, measured in Newton-metres (Nm) or pound-foot (lb-ft). More is better. | 850Nm@1500-5500rpm |
No. of Cylinders ICE engines have one or more cylinders. More cylinders typically mean more smoothness and more power, but it also means more moving parts and less fuel efficiency. | 12 |
Valves Per Cylinder Valves let air and fuel into the cylinders of a combustion engine. More valves typically make more power and are more efficient. | 4 |
Valve Configuration Valve configuration refers to the number and arrangement of intake and exhaust valves in each engine cylinder. | DOHC |
Fuel Supply System Responsible for delivering fuel from the fuel tank into your internal combustion engine (ICE). More sophisticated systems give you better mileage. | MSD87 |
Bore X Stroke Bore is the diameter of the cylinder, and stroke is the distance that the piston travels from the top of the cylinder to the bottom. Multiplying these two figures gives you the cubic capacity (cc) of an engine. | 89.0 X 88.3 mm |
Compression Ratio The amount of pressure that an engine can generate in its cylinders before combustion. More compression = more power. | 10.0:1 |
Turbo Charger A device that forces more air into an internal combustion engine. More air can burn more fuel and make more power. Turbochargers utilise exhaust gas energy to make more power. | Yes |
Super Charge A device that forces more air into an internal combustion engine. More air can burn more fuel and make more power. Superchargers utilise engine power to make more power. | No |
Transmission Type | Automatic |
Gear Box The component containing a set of gears that supply power from the engine to the wheels. It affects speed and fuel efficiency. | 8-Speed |
Drive Type Specifies which wheels are driven by the engine's power, such as front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive, or all-wheel drive. It affects how the car handles and also its capabilities. | 2WD |
