Cooper 3 DOOR D Review
Mini 3 DOOR is a stylish hatchback that is launched in the country's automobile market. It is available in a single variant, which is named as Mini 3 DOOR Cooper D. It is incorporated with a 1.5-litre diesel engine as standard under the hood. It can generate a peak power of 116bhp along with a torque output of 4000rpm, which is rather good. This is mated with a six speed manual transmission gear box. It comes with MID, Sport and Green driving modes, which are changeable from a rotary switch. This vehicle has a captivating outer appearance wherein, its front facade includes LED daytime running lights, bold radiator grille and a redesigned headlight cluster. The sides feature a set of alloy wheels, while the radiant tail light cluster in the rear further adds to its style. In terms of interiors, it is incorporated with slightly revised seats that offer good comfort. It includes an advanced infotainment system as well as an air conditioning unit for added convenience. As far as safety is concerned, it has anti lock braking system, run flat tyres, active pedestrian protection system and driving assist systems as well for enhanced security. It is cleverly mated with a six speed automatic transmission gear box, which enables it to attain a top speed in the range of 200 to 203 Kmph. While it can zoom towards the 100 Kmph in close to 9.2 seconds from a standstill. It is incorporated with a direct pressure fuel injection supply system, which allows it to deliver 25.6 Kmpl in the city traffic conditions and 28.57 Kmpl on the highways.
Braking and Handling:
The manufacturer has given this vehicle an efficient braking mechanism, which is further augmented by anti lock braking system along with EBD that prevents the vehicle from skidding. Its front and rear wheels are fitted with a set of disc brakes. It is also equipped with a robust suspension system that keeps it well balanced and stable at all times.
