The globally renowned Italian luxury car maker Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A has some of the fastest sports cars that are world renowned for their high performance and good looks. The company was first established by Ferruccio Lamborghini. Then after that Audi became the sole owner for Lamborghini in year 1988. The logo for the company is inspired from Taurus, the bull as Ferruccio Lamborghini was a Taurean. Apart from this, the logo also depicts the founder’s passion for bullfighting. Moreover, most of the models from this Italian motor company are named after famous bulls. It is said that the bull on the logo represented consistency, power and courage. The company has recently launched a spanking new limited edition Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550 – 2, which is being called as India Serie Speciale and is equipped with a massive engine. This limited edition sports car is priced at a whopping ex-showroom price of Rs. 3.06 Crores and the company has manufactured only six such units for the Indian buyers. This limited edition Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550 – 2 is a part of the company's 50th anniversary celebration. This two door sports coupe has been equipped with a high performance 5.2-litre petrol engine, which has ten cylinders in it. This DOHC (dual overhead cam shaft) based engine has a highly acclaimed fuel supply system, which helps in generating incredible power and torque output, which will certainly astound the buyers. The company has equipped this limited edition Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550 – 2 with some state-of-the-art and highly advanced comfort features, which will give a luxuriant driving experience to the passengers. Apart from this, the company has also equipped this sports coupe with some very significant and crucial safety aspects as well, which will ensure proper protection and security for the occupants as well as this sports car.
Exteriors:
This limited edition Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550 – 2 delivers through an aerodynamic design that adds up to the driving dynamics. This sports car has larger nose vents and smaller rear lights along with cleaner and more sophisticated interiors. This limited edition Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550 – 2 has been equipped with a high performance 5.2-litre petrol engine , which has ten cylinders in it. This massive engine has the ability to displace close to an outstanding 5204cc and has about forty valves in it. This DOHC (dual overhead cam shaft) based engine has a highly acclaimed fuel supply system, which helps in generating incredible power and torque output, which will certainly astound the buyers. This petrol mill has the ability to generate an incredible 550bhp at 8000rpm in combination with a pounding torque output of 540Nm at 6500rpm, which is mind blowing. Comfort Features:
Apart from the comforts of a sports car, this limited edition Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550 – 2 flaunts the luxuries of a super car as well. There are the dual zone climate controls for driver and passenger, leather trims on doors, on shift knob and on steering wheel as well apart from the other things. The comfortable tubeless radial tyres give a very comfortable drive by balancing the vehicle well . The car looks to be a pretty low rider, but the ground clearance is not that bad.
Safety Features:
This super car has front dual stage drive and passenger airbags along with side head-thorax airbags for the safety of the passengers. Coming to the braking system, this limited edition sports car is equipped with the power vacuum aluminum alloy calipers with 8-cylinder calipers at the front and 4-cylinder rear calipers . The ventilated discs give it a pretty strong braking system overall. There is also the full ESP system with ABS, ASR and ABD that helps the powerful machine remain under control.
Pros: Incredible exteriors, loaded with lavish features.
Cons: Not very comfortable to drive, expensive to own.
