Enjoy 1.3 TCDi LTZ 7 Review

Chevrolet Enjoy 1.3 TCDi LTZ 7 is the top end trim that gets refinements in terms of exteriors and interiors. It can board seven occupants and is very spacious to accommodate all of them comfortably. The seating arrangement is 2+2+3 (two captain seats in front and second row while third row has a bench). Safety of the vehicle is assured by the very basal structure itself by being designed over a safe cage structure to make it impenetrable. Further it has ABS and EBD braking mechanism, dual airbags for front occupants, seat-belts, rear door child locks and also warnings for driver seatbelt, door ajar, key-in and headlamps-on reminders as well. Comfort wise too it stands in advantage to other offerings for being equipped with aspects like an power steering and power windows, adjustable armrests and headrests, keyless entry and parking sensors plus electronically adjustable external mirrors and foldable seats. On the outside too it is good looking with body colored bumpers, door handles, outside mirrors and chrome accents over the radiator grille and the license plate. Inside the entire cabin is featured in black and beige dual toned theme and leatherette seats. Apart from the trunk capacity of 630-litres when third row is folded, the compartment too has storage spaces. As per the storage of this variant, there are map pockets in the front and rear door trims and a glove box in the dashboard. A storage compartment is offered in the dashboard on the driver side too additionally. Further, the front seats are fitted with back pockets for the sake of rear occupant's convenience. Parking lever, the gear knob and the inside door handles are garnished in chrome for added glow to the compartment. Engine and Performance:


A 1.3-litre diesel engine has been installed that can produce a maximum power of 73.77bhp at 4000rpm and a torque output of 172.5Nm at 1750rpm. There are four cylinders and sixteen valves which are based upon the dual overhead camshaft valve configuration. An 18.2Kmph fuel efficiency is squeezed out and the capacity of fuel tank is of 50 litres. Mated with this engine is the five speed manual gearbox that delivers torque output to the rear wheels.

Braking and Handling:

When it comes to the suspension, the front axle is fitted with McPherson struts and the rear axle is fixed with multi-link coil springs. The front and rear axles are further fitted with passive twin-tube gas filled based absorbers. Front wheels are coupled with discs while the rear ones are mated with the standard drum brakes. An anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution will add to the braking mechanism for further assistance.

Comfort Features:

Convenience of this trim can be listed starting with power steering facility that alleviates strain on the driver's part. To regulate the temperature of the compartment, an air-conditioning unit with heating and ventilation is installed. Another comfort factor is that there are power windows to all the four doors and along with this central locking system is also available. A standard feature of a day and night mirror is fixed in the cabin. Seats are cozy and the third row seats are double foldable and flexibly smart. Captain seats of second row are fitted with adjustable armrests. On the other hand, the front, second as well as the third rows have headrests that are height adjustable. Co-driver side visor is affixed with a vanity mirror and driver side is fitted with a ticket holder which is an extra comfort feature. Front seats are fitted with seat belts of three point ELR. Child locks are also integrated to the rear doors. Added to it, speed sensitive door locks are also offered for better protection. Driver seatbelt reminder is an add on protective aspect. Along with these, there is a door ajar warning and headlamps and key-in reminder too. The driver and co-driver too have been offered with airbags to avoid fatal injuries to the front occupants. An anti-lock braking system collaborates with the electronic brake-force distribution for making the braking mechanism of the vehicle stronger over every kind of road. On the center of the spoiler at the rear, there is a high mounted stop lamp affixed.
