S-Class 2012-2021 S 63 AMG Review
Mercedes-Benz has added another variant S 63 AMG in its S Class model lineup. It is a five seater sedan that is powered by a 5.5-litre, bi-turbo petrol engine. A 7-speed AMG speedshift MCT transmission gear box is coupled with this motor. It can generate massive 585bhp power in combination with 900Nm torque output. This trim comes equipped with several protective aspects like collision prevention assist plus, night security illumination, dual front airbags, anti lock braking system and many other such sophisticated features. Its body outline and design elements are quite fascinating, while the striking aspects just add to its classiness. At front, it has a large radiator grille with horizontal slats, whereas the trendy headlight cluster includes LED daytime running lights. On the sides, an elegant set of 19 inch alloy wheels remain the main attraction. Meanwhile, its rear end is highlighted by chrome tail pipes, and a stylish boot lid that also has a chrome strip and a company's badge embossed on it. On the other hand, it has an enticing internal section, which is incorporated with AMG sports seats featuring memory function and electrical adjustment facility. Right from the fine Nappa leather upholstery to its seats to the metal appliqué on dials and handles, all these together gives a luxurious feel to the passengers inside. Besides these, aspects like an advanced infotainment system, air conditioning unit, storage units as well as power sockets further ensures a comfortable driving experience.
Exteriors:
This variant Mercedes-Benz S-Class S 63 AMG has a stunning external design and aspects, which can certainly lure any buyer. To describe its frontage, it has a wide windscreen equipped with a pair of wipers, whereas the expressive lines on bonnet, makes it look more attractive. It comes with an aggressive radiator grille that is treated with chrome and has horizontally positioned slats. This is surrounded by a large headlight cluster that is integrated with dual beam projector headlamps. Also it features LED daytime running lights as well as turn indicators. The body colored bumper is fitted with an air dam along with a couple of air ducts on either sides, which further improves the look of its front fascia. Its sides are designed in a splendid way with noticeable features like AMG forged light alloy wheels of 19 inches that are painted in a titanium grey with high sheen finish. These are further covered with tubeless radial tyres, which ensures a firm grip on the road. Then, there are body colored door handles and outside rear view mirrors that are further fitted with side turn blinkers. Moreover, the chrome window sill as well as visible character lines on its doors adds style to this vehicle. Meanwhile, in its rear end, the thick chrome strip and firm's logo on its boot lid looks quite distinctive. The radiant tail lamps, windscreen with defogger and chrome exhaust tail pipes are some other remarkable aspects that gives a complete look to its rear profile.
Interiors:
Its plush interiors are certainly one of the best things about this variant. The cabin is quite spacious and includes well cushioned sports seats that are covered with fine nappa leather upholstery. The front seats come with electrical adjustment, memory function as well as heating functions. Also, its front and rear seat backrests includes AMG backrests that further gives it a sporty appeal. The dashboard looks quite modernistic with several sophisticated equipments integrated to it. These include the AMG sports steering wheel with fine leather wrapping, instrument cluster with two animated round dials as well as center console, which is further fitted with an air conditioning unit. Furthermore, the look of its interiors is further enhanced by metal and carbon fiber inserts on a few aspects.

This version is affixed with a powerful 5.5-litre petrol engine that has a displacement capacity of 5461cc. It carries eight cylinders that are further fitted with 32 valves. This motor is integrated with electronically controlled petrol injection system. It returns a maximum mileage of around 12 Kmpl, while on the city roads it gives about 7 Kmpl. This bi-turbo, V8 engine is skillfully paired with a 7-speed AMG speedshift MCT transmission gear box, which sends engine power to its rear wheels. This enables the vehicle to attain a top speed of approximately 250 Kmph. And as claimed by the company, it can cross the speed barrier of 100 Kmph in just 4.4 seconds, which is rather incredible. Besides these, it can generate a peak power of 585bhp at 5500rpm and yields torque output of 900Nm in the range of 2250 and 3750rpm.
Braking and Handling:
Its braking system is quite reliable wherein, both its front and rear wheels are equipped with ventilated disc brakes. This mechanism is further assisted by anti lock braking system. A rack and pinion based speed sensitive steering wheel is offered that is tilt adjustable. This provides excellent response and makes handling an easy task to the driver. On the other hand, both its front and rear axles are assembled with multi link independent suspension systems. These are further assisted by air springs and shock absorbers, which makes the drive smoother.
Comfort Features:
This trim is loaded with numerous advanced aspects, which just adds to the comfort of its occupants. It has a sports steering wheel that comes with aluminum shift paddles. An audio unit is also offered that ensures best in-car entertainment to its passengers. This unit comes with high performance speakers and supports Bluetooth connectivity as well.
