City 2015-2017 i DTec VX Option Review

Honda City is one of the most successful sedan models available at present in the country's market. It comes in a few variants out of which, the Honda City i DTec VX Option trim is the latest in its model lineup. This newly added variant brings along with it an additional feature, which is the Audio Visual Navigation system that has a 15.7cm touchscreen panel. It includes other interior aspects like the advanced multi-information combination meter, silver garnished steering wheel, three accessory sockets, and well cushioned seats that are covered with leather upholstery. Besides these, it has several comfort features like cruise control, air conditioner with heater, rear reading light, rear parking camera and height adjustable driver's seat to name a few. The company is also offering it with the new White Orchid Pearl color, apart from the existing body paint options. The overall external look of this vehicle is quite appealing, which is further enhanced by many noticeable aspects. These include a set of alloy wheels, chrome treated front radiator grille, expressive boot lid as well as trendy head and tail light cluster. In terms of technical specifications, it is fitted with the same 1.5-litre diesel power plant that is based on a DOHC valve configuration. This mill is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission gear box that enables easier gear shifting. Interiors:

This Honda City i DTec VX Option trim is blessed with roomy interiors that is decorated with an attractive dual tone color scheme. The dashboard in the cockpit looks quite stylish with a few equipments integrated to it. The three spoke steering wheel is wrapped with leather and mounted with audio controls. The hand brake knob, door handles and air vents are garnished with chrome, which further gives a rich appeal. In terms of suspension, it is incorporated with a McPherson strut on the front axle and a torsion beam on the rear one. Both these axles are further loaded with coil springs, which makes the ride more smoother. Its front wheels are fitted with a robust set of disc brakes and sturdy drum brakes are used for the rear ones. Besides these, it comes with a collapsible electric power assisted steering system that makes the vehicle's handling quite easier.

Comfort Features:

A wide range of comfort features are available in this Honda City i DTec VX Option variant. It is bestowed with an advanced Audio Visual Navigation system featuring a 15.7cm touchscreen panel. The music system comes with a CD, MP3 player, AM/FM radio tuner and supports USB port as well as Aux-In options. Both the audio and hands free telephone controls are mounted on its steering wheel. The cabin is installed with an automatic air conditioning unit that comes along with a heater.
