- 360-degree parking assist: Cameras at the front, rear, and both sides give an all-around view to ease parking; segment-first feature
- Powerful new 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine makes 156PS/254Nm

- Rear seat space is average
- 18-inch wheels wrapped in low profile rubber are not ideal for out pothole rich roads
- Priced too close to the 3 Series, a larger and more fun sedan
- Ergonomic issues: Driver’s seat set a little high; particularly uncomfortable for tall drivers. Footwell is too cramped
- Feature misses: No light for passenger vanity mirror. Top variant misses out on auto-dimming interior rearview mirror, powered driver seat and sunroof
- No diesel engine option
