Enzo Ferrari met Countness Paolina in the year 1923, Count Polina was the mother of an Italian air force officer who use to paint a horse on the side of his planes. Countness suggested Enzo to use horse on his cars as a symbol of good omen. Enzo Ferrari opted to get a black horse on his cars with a bright canary yellow background as yellow is the color of his birthplace Modena. Red was the color of Italian race cars therefore since the 1920s Ferrari cars were painted in red. The color depicted the nationality of the competing teams instead of the driver or the manufacturer.

Italy based luxury sports car manufacturer Ferrari is famous for manufacturing world class sports car across the globe. The compan is based in Maranello, Italy, it was founded in the year 1929 by Enzo Ferrari as Scuderia Ferrari. Initially the company was involved in manufacturing race cars along with sponsoring drivers. Back in 1947, the company commenced production of street-legal cars. Enzo Ferrari never intended to produce on road cars but the first on road car rolled out under its badge was Ferrari 125 S in 1947 to fund its company Scuderia Ferrari. Ferrari 125 S was powered with a 1.5 L V12 engine. In honor of its founder Enzo, Ferrari launched its fastest car of that time , Enzo from 2002 to 2004
