The manual transmission is the conventional type of gear transmission which has been into the process conventionally since the cars were started developing. The gear transmission system is used to control and bifurcated the power of the engine by segmenting the engine rpm. This is how the power of the engine is differentiated according to the speed of the vehicle which helps the engine to get a great performance. The automatic gearbox, on the other hand, the automatic gearbox is basically a gearbox which does not require manual gearshift instead the gear ratios are predefined with the help of intelligent system which helps the driver to control the car hassle free.

As per the requirement, we\'d recommend going with the petrol engine as your running with the car is on the lower side. Toyota Innova Crysta gets a 2.7-litre Dual VVT-i petrol engine that makes 166PS of power and 245Nm of peak torque coupled either with a five-speed manual or the six-speed automatic transmission. The engine claims to deliver 10.75 kmpl in the automatic variants and 11.25 kmpl with the manual transmission. The performance of the petrol engine lies somewhat between the diesel engines. It generates enough power and torque. Moreover, we\'d recommend taking a test drive of the car for a better insight into the performance, comfort and compatibility. The Innova Crysta is available with three engine options: a 2.7-litre petrol (166PS/245Nm), a 2.4-litre diesel (150PS/343Nm) and a 2.8-litre diesel (174PS/360Nm). So, if you are looking for performance than 2.8-litre diesel version will be a good option and if you are traveling less than 50-60km a day, opt for a petrol car instead of diesel. A diesel usually makes sense if you are driving above 60/70km a day. If you\'ll be driving more in heavy city traffic then we suggest you opt for Automatic Transmission which is easier to use and more comfortable for the driver, while Manual Transmission vehicles are less expensive more involved
