Aura S is one variant that offers you all the fuel choices except the 1.0-litre turbo petrol. It commands a healthy premium of Rs 76,000 over the previous variant but offers a bunch of essential features. It offers a good mix of need-based features and would have become an even more lucrative package if it had the touchscreen system on offer as well. As per your daily car usage, you may go for CNG variant if fuel efficiency is the only your priority. You will not get desired power performance on the highway with a CNG variant. Petrol variant would be a great pick if you want good power performance and smooth drive quality. But, if you can stretch your budget a bit more, we would suggest you to opt for Aura S Diesel, As per your daily usage it would be best choice at this budget, it delivers good fuel efficiency with better power too. Both the engines of Aura i.e. 1.2-litre diesel engine and 1.2-litre petrol engine are reliable for long term usage. You may compare all its variants accordingly. Do take a test drive before the final call. Check out authorised dealership details. The approximate estimated service cost figures for Hyundai Aura in 5 years are around Rs. 13,221 and Rs. 19,485 for petrol and diesel variants respectively. These are approximate figures excluding labour charges, GST

Between Aura and Rapid, which’s good option?

Both the cars are good enough and have their own forte in their segments. Aura packs in all the features and powertrain combinations that will keep you smiling on a daily basis. And in a market that's looking for exactly that, the Aura may not make the biggest ripple but has enough going for it to stir up the pond. If you are on a budget and looking for a feature loaded car, you may go for Hyundai Aura. On the other hand, Rapid misses out on some creature comforts when you compare it to its direct rivals but it undercuts most of them in price too. And if you are worried about reliability issues, Skoda is offering a 1 lakh kilometre warranty package with road-side assistance, included in the price of the car. Our recommendation is that you must definitely check out the Rapid if you list driving pleasure in the top three things you consider before buying a new car. It will offer you great performance, and decent fuel efficiency as well. You may compare both the cars according to their variants too. Do take a test drive in order to get better clarity.
