Both cars are having their own advantages and specialties, where the Honda City is only available with the 1.5-litre petrol engine (119PS/145Nm) mated to a 5-speed manual. On the other hand, Nexon is offered with either a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine or a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine. While the petrol engine produces 120PS and 170Nm, the output figures of the diesel engine stand at 110PS and 260Nm. On the safety end, the Nexon has an upper hand in the scenario. If you are looking for a family car majorly for city use, you may opt for Honda City and if you prefer a car with more power and rigidness considering the highway drives, Tata Nexon would be a great pick.
