Mazda is a Japanese car manufacturer that is yet to show interest in entering the Indian car market. The carmaker has a global presence with offerings ranging from hatchbacks and sedans to people movers and SUVs. However, it’s Mazda’s small sports cars that have gained a cult following. Currently, the only sports car it has on sale is the MX-5 while the RX-7s and RX-8s of the past have become a collector’s item. There’s no word yet on Mazda’s India entry but if it goes ahead with it, we expect it to kickstart its inning with a crossover or SUV.The Mazda brand was on sale in India. It’s famous for its Mazda RX 8, Mazda Miata models. The manufacturer 15.44 Lakh. There is no official word from the manufacturer on its re-entry into the Indian market.

Reviving the Rotary engines from the dead, this sports concept features a triangular rotor which generates power through the rotational motion. The production for this engine was stopped a long time ago but Mazda claims that they never stopped their R&D in the subject. It seems that they have been successful as the latest generation rotary mills are called SKYACTIV-R and are expected to be employed in Mazda’s future sports cars. Following the RX-7 and RX-8, RX-Vision takes the rotary engine legacy forward. The car has a front engine, rear wheel drive setup and houses the SKYACTIV-R motor.
