Kia Carnival Car Latest Update

Launch: Kia Carnival is expected to be launched in India April 2024.

Price: The fourth-gen Kia Carnival is expected to come at a price of Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.

Seating Capacity: Kia is offering the new Carnival in 7-, 9-, and 4-seater layouts in Korea.

Engine and Transmission: The premium MPV will come with 3 powertrain options globally: petrol, diesel and hybrid. Kia has also announced the addition of a new 1.6-litre turbo-petrol hybrid to the mix. The India-spec version will likely get a 2.2-litre diesel engine, producing 200 PS and mated to an 8-speed automated transmission.

Features: Key features include curved dual 12.3-inch screens (one for the infotainment and one for the driver), multi-zone climate control, dual sunroofs, ambient lighting, and an air purifier.

Safety: Its list of safety features includes eight airbags, a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) like lane-keep assist, blind spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control.

Rivals: While the Carnival doesn’t have any direct rivals in India, it will continue to sit above the Toyota Innova Hycross but below the Toyota Vellfire.
