Look and Style From outside the vehicle looks appeleaing but the worst part is the brake. I have virtually come out alive twice in XUV500 for the fault of brake. The effectivness of brake is very poor for sudden braking after the speed of 100km/hr. If you suddenly try to stop the XUV in a speed above 100km/hr it will stop after after going another 10-15 ft. Never buy Xuv 500 Or any other new launches from Mahindra for 2 yrs from the date of launchWithin 25,000 km three breakdown!!!!!1. Felt proud to be the owner of XUV Dec 2011, but happiness was shortlived......Now feel like a Gunie pig getting experimented at our cost !!! Post sales support was great for the foirst 6 months, NOW there are no people to even answer your call and resolve serious issues. Never ever decide just based on these reviews. decide only once you analysed the vehicle. this is my experience with XUV500. It seems very attractive but has lot of problems in this car. Be it steering, brakes, windshield, corner posts what not I can list several problems that I saw in this car. especially dealer and service support in Hyderabad is pathetic. We were one of the 1st to get delivery of the XUV- W8 in Mumbai and XUV was good for initial 2-3 months. Now the list of problems till now... 1. The clutch paddle problem 2. The brake pump problem & brake pads noise 3.
