Volkswegan pushing defective cars in India

Quality of manufacturing in India is poor and dangerous: I purchased volkswagen Vento Highline petrol car ( WVWD11607BT054232, CLS 069007, 65751) which was delivered to me on 25 th May 2011 from Frontier Autoword Gurgaon. On my first trial of the car itself  I noticed a problem with gear shift, problem disappeared after sales person asked me to restart the car so I didn’t bother much and thought it could be because of new geras. However during few days of driving I realized that it was definitely a problem and went to  volkswagen workshop at Gurgaon. Attendant at the center confirmed me that the problem was genuine as a lock or clip was not put in  during the assembly. Seems Volkswagn is not following quality standards when it comes to India. Overall Experience: Very Poor
