Volkswagen Vento Details this is really erratic . It happen in some places I had received with in a month.please persuurise them by calling regularly they will feel your pressure and deliver
VW faces a huge backlog becasue of demand of Polo & Vento. In my place, they do not even take booking of VEnto Diesel.....
Dear Friend, I got my Swift Diesel VDI after 6 months from booking date. What will you say about this???.... Maruti, the No:1 in india faces lot of Back Logs....
Hello Friends, I work very close to VW, I do see there is havy demand for Vento and Polo that is the reason they have huze backlogs...morever they are building Vento, Polo and Fabia from same Assy line and difficult to balance the demands. I belive they have already increased their valume and would be producing 650 car per day all together from next two months.
I fully agree with you. I'm also in the same boat. I booked my Vento Diesel HL 04 months back. Whenever I'm calling the dealership to find out delivery schedule there is no news about the same. Moreover, they are the worst lot in giving any feed back and very discurteous of not responding/ calling back. For Rajesh - You must appreciate that Volkswagen company policy is not good. They are taking their customers for a ride. Customers are booking VW solely for the quality product, but at the same time this cannot be taken for granted for long. There's a need to change the company policy as whole.
all car company dealers now a days are reluctant &indifferent to customers maruthi honda both had the same notion towards customers why cry
I have a different experience to share. Booked Polo 1.6 Petrol in mid Nov 2010. Was told by dealer, here in Goa that delivery will be in Feb-March. Got a surprise call Last week that my car has arrived!!..hurried with the loan process/registration etc..getting delivery tomorrow! BUt every thing was not smooth..the dealer said that the there is going to be extra charge for the electric ORVM which is a new feature that has been added, had a difference of opinion and wrote back to the company and they immediatly wrote back that old customers( pre dec 2010) have price protection and that I need not pay any thing extra..Really GOOD SERVICE from VW but not from the dealer!!
man you must be sooooo... LUCKY..
Hi Where did you write to ? I mean please forward me email / postal address as I wish to take up similar issue with them Thanks
Same experience;booked my Vento in Sept'10 was told it will take 3 months, since mine was a diesel high line model I had opted for Navy blue colour which they told me will take a year. Its now 5 months and the colour suggested is black, and I had paid only 75,000/= will I get interest for that period??
i thoroughly go with vijayanand VW should improve thier customer correspondence and service, most important of all they must get responsible dealers otherwise the brand VW will fall badly.
I have booked in October. That time, they said, two and half to three months. Then they told me that Jan End. Now they have told me Feb end. I am not sure when do the deliver. But I do not know, what it preventing them to give true picture on delivery.
You need to speak harsh with your dealer and tell him if he does not stick to his words you will cancel the booking. Thats the only way you can get your Vento early. Thanks, CarDekho Team
yes I too agree with you sir
Thank you all for your comments. After my last posting I had visited the dealer on 25th Jan 2011 to cancel the booking. I was reassured the delivery WILL happen before second week of Feb, and I should expect their call around 6th Feb. But the assurance is recorded nowhere: only verbal. As always, VW commits nothing. I started reminding the dealer from 5th Feb (thanks C.Vijayakumar) so that they don't forget. Believe me, VW never calls its customers. And on 12th Feb I learn that I should expect my vehicle by 28th Feb!! I strongly felt that I've been repeatedly humiliated so I cancelled the booking yesterday. At the time of cancellation, to my surprise, I'm still assured that my car will be ready and I can have it within 3 days!! God only knows how. I wasn't convinced though. Believe me, I'm greatly relieved now... at least I can tell to myself and to my family that VW Vento is not coming. The dealer is also happy perhaps. He needn't answer my calls anymore. My 9 year old son is extremely sad. The dealer witnessed how excited my son was when I agreed to wait for another 20 days for the develiery on my 25th Jan visit. I try to convince him about my helplessness. I feel bad that a renowned manufacturer like VW is so insensitive to its customers. I'm going to book elsewhere. It may take another couple of months before delivery. But I didn't want to go with bad memories looking at my own Vento.
Forgot to make a mention in my last posting that I will never ever go for a Volkswagen. I will book either Honda City or Hyundai Verna Transform Diesel.
man i booked it i am getting it on march 20
very very poor delarship communication,in kerala
Dear friend , you should understand the fact of huge demand comapre to production with them. there are always demand for popular cars however dealershould not give false comments for delivery to customer.
You are all worried about the delivery of the vehicle. Also be prepared for the horrifying experience of VW Service...
