Volkswagen Polo recent launched car in India. You said about its negative think that the revolutionary is hell 1.2 TSI with 77Kw/105 PS . I hope VW will be removed your confusion. When it will show front of them.

Polo has been priced wrong. Too high for base model. It will byepass Indian middle class homes completely. Polo would be a dud in India. Till now, the German car makers have not understood India at all. Fools.

Dear Himalaya,Polo is a premium hatchback with specs unmatched by anyone else in the same category wearing a VW badge deliverd at price lower than the I20(compare similar specs).Am pretty sure this car will get them to touch more lives than they have been doing with their current premium models in India.As an Indian customer I am delighted to have a premium car maker start taliking my language. Dear Dinesh, My comment was not a -tive one,I was only rueing about the fact that we will not get to see the Best engine Polo has to offer,in India just yet.

Dear manufacturer, first of all i thank the company for bringing a superior vehicle in hatchback segment competing all i20,swift and fabia i am planning to buy the comfort petrol end model next month but i found that the pricing for base model and high line model is put to very high with only small features extra to base model and further the road view for the driver is made very long also the leg room for the the rear passengers is quite small as the boot place is left very big, why not the company thought of adjusting this both for comfort of rear passengers and also for the dicky,further my question is can i change the steel wheels to alloy wheels on base model by exchange or by paying extra ?

I don't think there isn't any problem in drivers seats but only concern is about rear leg room when driver is more than 6ft tall then the rear leg room becomes crampy. However, apart from this aspect the quality of the car is great and priced competitively. There is hardly any difference in comfortline and trendline apart from metallic color, pearl effect color, body colored doors and handles, 60:40 rear seat splitting, rear power windows and back tray. I felt they have deliberately kept this pricing so as to bring down the base end price comparable to currently available. The quality of material involved in car is simply awesome comparing to others cars.

i love VW polo for his quality, performance and looks....but there are no projecter headlamps as even an option as well as some kits are missing (europe versions get them) and waitng for VW to launch 1.6 diesel in polo....

I was planning to buy Dezire. Had test drive of polo today and thank Rajeev for suggesting me POLO. I also saw Sunny, Verna and Etios. I opt for this car, which suits my taste and budget. But have to experience service network and price of spares.

spot on. The engine is the heart of the car,and if the body is as heavy as that of polo the engine ought to be powerful. The current engine is OK but VW should have given it more grunt.
