performance is acceptable but the engine is very smooth excellent economy and a very good six speed transmission also one of d most comfortable car in it's segment it's a toyota so after sales wont be a issue but as u hv mentioned dat u r considering the j variant the j variant lacks many features dat a 12 lakh car should hv so i wud recommend if u cn stretch ur budget dan go for d g variant bt if u r not interested in dat extra luxury dan it's ok.also hv a look on fluence. my recommendation for u : Toyota Corolla Altis Diesel J Renault Fluence Diesel E2/E4 Also consider:Renault fluence Skoda Laura Ambiente Ford Fiesta(new) Hyundai Verna
