tata safari dicor - think again

We bought this vehicle in 2008 because it was spacious, good looking and came at a reasonable price for the category. Just 47000 kms of running and the engine had problems with the engine stalling . Had to refurbish the entire engine and that cost a bomb with the company taking no responsibility.Good :Dealer CoverageDecent Mileage for the size, especially on longs.Space inside the cabinBoot spacePoorEngine and parts used.The interiors are pretty sad.Aesthetically the dashboard is sad and quality of the items used very poor.The driving experience otherwise is good but being a tall vehicle taking sharp turns is not recommended. Strong and sturdy body though makes you feel safe inside. The power window units are sad and needs replacement often since they come loose. On the whole all the parts in the Cabin are pretty sad. You have wires showing in cabin which is visually displeasing.Wouldnt recommend a buy on this with the experience I have had.
