sx4 diesel flop show for maruti

I OWN SX 4 TOO ITS BEEN 20 DAYS I BAUGHT IT , I DIDNT COME ACROSS ANY SUCH PROBLEM SORRY FOR UR BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THE CAR BUT ITS GOOD, THE TURBO CHARGE IS ALSO DOING ITS JOB IF U CAN FEEL IT, MILAGE I GOT 13 KMPL WHEN I HAD TO GO ON A 600 KM TRIP TO A VILLAGE BECAUSE ROAD WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGHT. BUT I WILL SOON TEST ITS MILAGE ON EXPRESS HIGHWAY AND WRITE MORE, I ALREADY HAVE MORE THAN 10 SCRTCHES ON IT HOPE I WONT HAVE ANYMORE, GEAR SHIFTING SOMETIMES IS NOISEY... TOTALLY I LOVE MY CAR HOPE U WILL SOON TOO

Actually I wish to go for Maruti SX4 ZDI Model but after reading Anju's feed back I'm confused . Shall I go for it or not ? Give me better options.

Hi all; I have purchased my SX4-Diesel in March 2011. I was having 2 problems in the vehicle but got it rectified from the dealer immediately. I am getting a milage of 18-18.5kms on highway and 15-16 in the city. Its a good performer except the low pickup as its a 1250CC engine compared to that of the Vento and the Verna. I selected the SX4 because of the reliable Maruti brand (Specifically their service network around the country) and the strict regulation they have put on the dealers regarding customer staisfaction. The maintenence value is also very low. I got my third service done at Rs.2650/- only.

I've completed 5200 kms so far, mates its an awsome deal !! SX4 is the car faaaar better than verna(low clearance high maintainence low highway stability) and vento ( same issues nt wrth looks for 10 lakhs) and linea which is having poor service back up ... im getting 19 kms ..its agr8 car worth buy ..done give ur ears to those branded scraps, be practical ...any car will have issues ..its so childish to cry aloud in forums like this ... Get it fixed from a service station ,,,it wont be as far as frm ur hm ..hppy ride !! :)

Mileage cannot be over the limit specified by the OEM or ARAI.... Drop in pick up can be improved by pushing one gear up.....clean the air filters.... Avoid too much accelaration at the time of start or move... and avoid unnecessary accelaration as well as braking..... Low mileage can be due to traffic conditions, Handling of accelaration VS break or the car may need an inspection from an qualified expert. Pls choose a good service dealer. Beyond all these you may write to Maruti directly for further assistance and solution. I am writing to you post my experience with my SX4 and issues and Maruti Suzuki India. They are a bit complacent but you may have to push them a bit. The views are only to help identify the problem not to teach anybody.
