The all new Maruti SX4 premium sedan, which was launched just days back in the country is undoubtedly the best in class sedan. In my opinion, one should really consider affording their money on this vehicle as it has been improved a lot compared to its previous model. Despite being one of the best in class sedans, it has failed to received good response in the country. As the company has recently launched the facelift version, I thought of taking a look at the car. It was so exciting that I have decided to purchase it and bought it few days back. The facelift version looks very exciting because of the cosmetic updates given to the car. The design of the front radiator grille has been changed and now it is a chrome grille instead of perforated grille. What really impressive about the new Maruti SX4 is its improved fuel efficiency. I have bought a diesel variant of SX4, which is producing an impressive mileage of about 21.1Kmpl. And moreover, the price of the car remained same as its previous model. The overall specifications of the engine also remains to be the same and my SX4 is powered by 1.3 litre, 4 cylinder 1248cc diesel mill that churns out a power of about 88.2Bhp at 4000Rpm and makes 200Nm of torque at 1750Rpm. There are some of the exciting features were added to the car in the form of touchscreen stereo with navigation system and with Bluetooth connectivity. It also has the USB and AUX in support. Most important thing about this new SX4 is its improved interior look, which gives you a premium feel because of the chrome finishing. It also got electrically adjustable outside rear view mirrors and electronically foldable ORVMs and so on. The steering wheel has also got a chrome finish, which indeed gives you a premium feel while driving the car. The overall experience with the car is pleasant and I think that I have received good value for money.
