Read somewhere that Ertiga is the Life Utility Vehicle that transforms you. Honestly, very well said. Just had my test drive of the new Maruti Ertiga and was I surprised. The MPV is a pleasure to drive. The exterior of the car is pretty stylish and decent. But somehow, from the front it reminded me of the Maruti Ritz, then maybe that’s because I am in love with that car. On a serious note, the front lights do look very similar to the hatchback. The interiors, although were much more appealing in comparison of the exteriors. The seats are of good high-quality upholstery. The car is spacious and with the flexible seating. It is enough to seat 5 passengers comfortably. Yes, it is a 7 seater but the last two seats are a little cramped for adults. So can safely say, 5 adults and 2 children, Ertiga can handle that many people comfortably. The pick-up of the car is pretty impressive. This car should be good for the drive on highways. Another comfortable thing about the car was the manoeuvrability. Also, along with this, the brakes were also powerful. It was very easy to handle the vehicle in the traffic. Plus, the ground clearance was also pretty good for the classic bumpy roads. As the company claims, the fuel efficiency is also pretty good. It should be able to deliver an efficiency of around 19kmpl for the diesel version.  The brand name Maruti is a good enough to give a sense of assurance when it comes to quality, stability, low maintenance and great fuel efficiency. The all new Ertiga is great news for all the Maruti car lovers who were out there looking for a big family car. Even after a small test drive, I can very confidently say that Ertiga stands true to all the claims that the company had made and worth all the speculations and the hype that was created. Maruti surely knows how to give the consumers the best.
